We've all been there. We're riding high on the adrenaline rush of a great Costco deal on tires, vodka, shirts or whatever, feeling like the savviest shopper to ever shop. You log online to see what's popping over on Costco dot com when you spot the exact same thing on sale for *gasp* way less. But don't worry, there's a way to get in on a sale, even if you've already purchased it.
According to Reader's Digest, if you bought an item online and see that the same item went on sale within 30 days of purchase, you can fill out a price match request on Costco's website. If they find everything to be in order they'll refund you the difference between purchase price and sale price in 3 to 5 days.
They won't cost match other retailers, so if you see it on sale at a different spot you're out of luck. And while the form is just for online purchases, you can stop by the membership counter of your local Costco to see if that outpost offers price match.
It pays to be an eagle-eyed Costco consumer and who knows you may be able to get enough credits for some of those famous Costco sheets.
