What do you get when you take the back seat of a trashed BMW and meld it with an old, inefficient refrigerator? A fridgecouch! This idea was dreamed up by Adrian Johnson, a Canadian artist, design professional and self-proclaimed recycled furniture artist.

Adrian's first fridgecouch was borne from a junked BMW coupe with a beautiful, German engineered back seat with modern, sleek aesthetics and hand-sewn details. After brainstorming what could be the same size as a car seat, he decided a refrigerator might just work. The next day, he found a near perfect olive green refrigerator at the dump and the Fridgecouch was born. There are now three Fridgecouch designs in the works.

What do you think about this?
