Check Out Courteney Cox’s Nostalgic Visit to Her ‘Friends’ Apartment Building
Courteney Cox’s recent Instagram post was nostalgia at its finest—and gave us all the feels. In a video captioned, “The One Where My Rent Went Up $12,000,” the Friends actress paid a visit to the block that housed her fictional two-bedroom apartment on the corner of Grove Street and Bedford Street in New York City.
In the video Cox says, “Goodnight guys, I’m going home” as she waves goodbye. As the camera pans up to the building she shared with Rachel, Chandler, and Joey (and occasionally Phoebe and Ross), the background music is reminiscent of scene transition tunes from the show.
Cox is fairly new to Instagram, joining only after some convincing from Ellen DeGeneres (who also convinced Will Smith to join), with her first official photo being of her, DeGeneres, and Lisa Kudrow. Together, the trio posed on the famous orange couch in the center of Central Perk. How appropriate!
Since her arrival, she has made several nods to the monumental television series, one being a moving day post captioned, “#pivot”.
While many have crossed their fingers for a “Friends” reboot, the former Monica Geller says although she would totally be on board, she doesn’t see it happening anytime soon. Saying to PEOPLE, “I just don’t see it happening. Even though I would do anything to be in a room with all of those people acting and having a great time. But I don’t see it happening.”
