Get a Peek at Courteney Cox’s Living Room, Which Appears in a New Book
On Nov. 11, actress Courteney Cox shared a few images from a photoshoot she did for friend and designer Jenni Kayne’s brand-new book “Pacific Natural at Home.” In the images, we get a good look at Cox’s soothing living space, which she has decorated in shades of gray.
“Loved being a part of my friend @jennikaynehome’s book Pacific Natural at Home,” Cox wrote in the caption of her Instagram post. “She’s such an inspiration to me.”
The second photo is a peek at a corner of Cox’s living room. For the walls, she’s chosen a cozy dark gray-green color that reads as warm when paired with the ashy wood floors and cooler-toned couch and area rug. The gray tones and textures mixed with natural finishes, plants, and maximalist decor make the gray aesthetic surprisingly inviting and comfy.
Kayne also shared photos from Cox’s shoot several weeks ago, showing us snaps from inside the actress’ kitchen. In this space, Cox has mastered the art of styling light with dark by pairing the warmth of her pale beige cabinetry with jet black countertops and accessories that drive home the modern design.
“Pacific Natural at Home,” released in October, is Kayne’s second book and shows how to create spaces that “encourage living well in comfort and style by featuring beautiful and inspiring interiors along with practical room-by-room tips.”
It’s a must-have for those who love mixing and matching organic textures and colors with clean lines and simplicity. “Pacific Natural at Home” also features interviews with several creative women, Cox included, who have “embraced a similar natural design ethos.”
And with the images from Cox’s home already sparking inspiration, you may just end up diving head-first into the “Pacific Natural” aesthetic after reading the book cover to cover.
