Loft apartments are good. Scandinavian apartments, also good. Put them together and you have this little gem, a gorgeous Finnish loft with beautiful architecture and beautiful style.
On the apartment's first level, minimal furnishings let the soaring windows take center stage. The tree stump tables are playful and whimsical and help to inject a little warmth into the space.
I think we can all agree that the living room is gorgeous, but the upstairs is the bedroom, which is really the pièce de résistance. One wall is a wall of glass which looks out onto the living room, and the other contains mirrored doors to what we can only image is the world's largest closet. If you're anything like me, this is the bedroom of your wildest dreams, and, wisely, the owners have chosen to let the architecture do the talking, outfitting the space only with a desk and a mattress which sits on the floor.
It's a reminder that in all things, balance is the key: the minimal, almost unremarkable furnishings in this space keep your attention on the architecture, where it should be. Could you imagine living here? Would you do anything differently, or do you think this apartment is perfect just as it is?
