Creating a Hidden Play Space

Creating a Hidden Play Space

A few more square feet here and there can never hurt when you have small ones. We love the design of this 7-year old's room over at Design Sponge but what makes it extra special?

That's not just a bunkbed. The lower bunk serves as a play space. By putting a piece of plywood on the frame, the bunk is a solid surface on which to play Legos and the like. Clean up is super easy - the hanging curtain pulls closed to hide the mess. This is a great way to create a play space in a small room.
