All kids need a domain of their own where they can explore, pretend, imagine, and capture the magic of childhood. Help them make their room a whimsical place where their favorite things are on display.

This is what design pioneer Christy Ford has done for her three children. The owner of the amazing interior design store And George in Charlottesville, VA, she's documented the various stages her kids' rooms as they've grown up.

Highlights include fun ribbon chandeliers, dressed up teddy bears, canopies, and overflowing bulletin boards full of pictures and other curiosities. There's a definite emphasis on "more is more" in these rooms, which is the philosophy on display here: why not use your kids' stuff to decorate, instead of stowing it all away? Be sure to check out the full tour of these inspiring and whimsical rooms here.
