This Artist Can Make a Custom Ornament That Looks Exactly Like Your House

There’s nothing like a personalized gift, and we’ve just stumbled across a pretty delightful one. An Etsy shop called Forever Figurines makes custom ornaments that look like tiny versions of people’s houses, and the results are undeniably charming.

The artist behind Forever Figurines, Samantha, has listed a bunch of her past custom house ornaments on Etsy so you can see plenty of examples of her work, across different architectural styles, before you request an ornament of your own. 

These ornaments can be given at any time of year—for house-warmings, for going-away parties, for a piece of your loved one’s childhood home while they’re living far away—but they’re especially popular over the holidays.

Samantha warns that because of demand, her turnaround time can be up to eight or more weeks, but if you’re interested, you can reach out to her through Etsy for a time estimate. The shop currently has 976 reviews and a five-star rating, which makes a lot of satisfied figurine customers. 

The replicas are all hand-painted, and in addition to the samples shown on Etsy, you can also see Samantha’s work on Instagram. Her custom pieces aren’t limited to houses, either. She also makes mini replicas of wedding cakes and pets, plus animal-themed wedding cake toppers.

The mini cakes’ resemblance to their originals is pretty uncanny.
