When Apple recently announced their super slim aluminum keyboard there was a lot of love for the new design. On the flip side, there were also some who thought the low profile keys would be difficult to use and yearned for a more retro style keyboard with 'you are damn sure you hit the key because you can hear it across the room' type feedback.
For this, the IBM model M is what kept coming up as the reference keyboard design. It has been modded into a steampunk typewriter keyboard and now Unicomp has the Customizer 104/105 keyboard. Inspired by the Model M, you can pick this up here for $69.
