We spend our days scouring the Marketplace for gems you can’t find anywhere else. Buy and sell with over 200,000 neighbors who love quality home furnishings and good design.

When you’re shopping for storage, you want someone who knows how to maximize space, a revisionist if you will. Take for example Wes of Artspace Industrial. He repurposes vintage steel lockers, file cabinets and other items into unique, one of a kind furnishings all from his workshop in update New York. The locker storage console pictured above was built using vintage steel lockers. The original paint was first stripped before Wes and his team hand-brushed a wire finish and sealed it with automotive acrylic enamel. All this to create an industrial piece that’s equally artful and functional.

These striking industrial designs can be incorporated in just about any room of your home. Flat steel lockers with caster wheels can make a great coffee table or an upholstered bench in the entryway or custom cabinets for a home bar. Another unique creation from Wes are the bright and colorful shelving units (pictured above) made from repurposed steel drums. They can be purchased individually or in multiples for a one-of-a-kind wall of storage.

If you want more “large and in change” industrial finds, take a look at these giant 42-inch letters handmade from sheet metal. Originally from Barnes and Noble signage, these letters come with a rubber coated toggle switch and wiring if you opt to connect several together. For something a little smaller, see the 16-inch option.
