If this picture gives you the urge to sink your toes into a plush rug, then consider Tribe and Territory your source for all that is sumptuous and comfy. Former fashion stylist (and self-proclaimed design obsessed) Katie carries vintage wool rugs made by the Beni Ourain tribes. Each unique while adding an instant dose of bohemian chic to a home. She offers in-person pickup and local delivery for the Los Angeles area, and shipping if you’re not on the West Coast but still want some Californian style.

Her rugs are reasonably priced for high grade sheep wool quality. Smaller rugs like the 5’2″ X 3′ vintage Azilal rug run about $230. A creamy Beni Ourain bedside runner (pictured above) will set you back $270. You can also get bright candy-colored rugs in the 6-foot range for about $500.

For the gem of all gems, take a look at this flokati-like rug (pictured above) handmade near Marrekesh in Morocco. The fibers are rolled by hand which is responsible for the thick, dense weave that feels like you’re stepping on fluffy clouds of goodness. There are “evil eye” motifs and seed symbols woven into the double knotted berber—a high quality that will set you back $1,200. Sure it’s an investment, but one that will age beautifully.
