Pink Chairs! Designs to Benefit Breast Cancer Research

With the Komen Greater New York City Race for the Cure just behind us, we find it appropriate that Suite New York has created The Pink Wishbone Project to benefit the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Twenty female interior designers were charged with customizing Hans Wegner's classic Wishbone chair in bright pink — the signature color of the cause.

From October 7th - 28th, the creations will be auctioned off on, with proceeds supporting breast cancer research. At the top, Kelly Behun's design cleverly mirrors the shapes and textures of a woman's body. Kelly Wearstler's safety-pin chair is also shown with its intricate detailing in an unusual medium.
