Desmond's Summer Dream Workstation

Desmond's Summer Dream Workstation

There's something undeniably lovable about a workstation that feels absolutely lived in - even if that office is filled to the brim with toys, uses a book as a laptop stand, and is set against a plainest of white backdrops.

Desmond Arsan, an art director based in Stockholm, Sweden, does most of his graphic design work from his command center. This includes motion graphics, illustration, and his hub for creative ideation and branstorming madness. Note the single shelf above, giving Desmond's desk additional real estate while adding a bit of colour and style overhead (note: How To Organize Collectables On Your Computer Desk).

On his desk:

  1. Macbook Pro 15"
  2. Apple Cinema LED 24"
  3. Apple iPad (which kinda looked like a Wacom tablet at first)
  4. Apple Wireless Bluetooth Keyboard
  5. Logitech MX518 Mouse
  6. iPhone 3GS Black + charging station

And although a laptop stand is ideal, sometimes a box or a book can work just fine at elevating your laptop to an ergonomically sound height (doesn't hurt if you also pick a book with a decor-complementary spine). It seems like such a fun little workstation, we feel like we could just jump right in!
