D’espresso Cafe by Nema Workshop

This design for a new cafe on Madison Avenue pays homage to the nearby Bryant Park Library but lends a quirky vibe to the image of new brand D’espresso Cafe. If you look closely at the photos, you will notice that the room looks rather like a charming old library – turned sideways!

Gorgeous wide-planked herringbone flooring runs up the back wall of the cafe, while spherical pendant lights are cantilevered off the other side of the space. And that incredible collection of vintage books is really a custom-made wallpaper graphic.

This is a fun statement for a commercial venture, and we’re already imagining that hardwood wall in our residences.
