Diesel's Lifelike Duii Lamp

Diesel's Lifelike Duii Lamp

Inanimate objects that appear human-like have an immediate attraction. (Kind of like animals in clothes.) The Duii lamp seems human in a robotic kind of way, as if it walked off a Pixar film set.

The Duii Lamp by Diesel and Foscarini is named after one of Donald Duck's nephews, further enhancing its lifelike qualities. The large flat base — reminiscent of a duck's feet — keeps the lamp stable and also acts as a catch-all for office supplies and other trinkets. The articulated arm and large lamp make the lamp easy to use while also lending a humorous style to the product.
