Digit: Rugs for the Pixel Generation

Retro this, retro that. We're sure half-baked ideas work some of the time, but it takes quite a deal of craft to execute something worthy of taking up an entire floor in a living space. Luckily, the latest set of rugs from nanimarquina manages to balance that retro aesthetic in a clever way, including the incorporation of the bright pixels we remember so well into a playful piece to complement any room.

Their current Digit collection is a set of two rugs (one bright, one more muted). For the brighter one, we imagine adding it to a space with primarily white or muted walls would create a beautiful general balance. Meanwhile, the darker rug would play nicely with a more natural toned, modern aesthetic. But both look absolutely stunning, in our opinion.

The rug itself is made of 100% wool from New Zealand and prices are available upon request. Now, if we could only get one to test out in our living room...
