Pixar is Sharing Free Video Recipe Tutorials, So You Can Make Dishes From Your Favorite Movies
If quarantine has you spending tons of time in the kitchen and you’re looking for new ways to truly bring your meals to life, the geniuses at Pixar have come through with some serious Disney delights for you.
“Cooking With Pixar,” a new series now available on the Pixar YouTube channel, gives step-by-step tutorials to help you create meals from the animation studio’s most beloved films, so you can enjoy a slice from Pizza Planet in your own home.
So far, fans can try out recipes from three different Pixar movies, and each one is sure to be approved by food lovers of all ages. First up: Bao from the Pixar short of the same name helps you create the traditional Chinese dumpling dish. It’s all made from scratch, featuring homemade dough and pork filling, with the full ingredients listed here.
Next, join the breakout star of “Toy Story 4,” Forky, as he puts on his chef hat to help you create a pepperoni and pepper pizza that serves up flavor to infinity and beyond. Sure, you could order delivery yet again, but with such an easy and tasty way to bring a little Disney magic to the dinner table, why not?
And since no meal is complete without dessert, you’ll want to join brothers Ian and Barley Lightfoot from “Onward,” Pixar’s latest animated release. The pair team up to make a birthday cake for Ian’s birthday, but it looks so incredible, you’ll want to make this vanilla cake with pink and white frosting even if no one in your house is celebrating a special day.
