You’ll Soon Be Able to Shop at a Disney Store in Target, so Dreams Really Do Come True
There are those that love anything Disney, those that love anything Target, and then there are those that unapologetically love both. To those people we say, buckle up: Target and Disney are joining forces in more than one way.
Starting Oct. 4, Target will be unveiling Disney stores within 25 of their brick and mortar locations. However, the partnership isn’t stopping there: they’re planning to bring Disney into 40 additional stores by October 2020. Disney will also be opening a Target store right in Walt Disney World.
We’re hoping that the Disney stores in Target will bring a cozy aesthetic vibe to the big box store. The Disney shop areas will have seating families can utilize to relax and take in some Disney clips on TV, plus additional interactive displays, music, and photo opportunities.
As for what they’ll be selling, it’ll be Disney-centric toys, games, apparel, and accessories. The locations will also debut 100 items traditionally only sold at official Disney stores.
One reason so many people love Target is because of how easy the brand makes it to spend time there for a while, especially with kids in tow. I can’t imagine that the addition of Disney stores will do anything but enhance that appeal.
