Take a Peek Inside Disney World’s Whimsical Cinderella Castle Suite
Shared on the official Disney Parks TikTok page, this behind-the-scenes video gives fans a detailed look at the suite, which comfortably sleeps six people. Located inside the castle, it’s as elaborately decorated as you’d imagine, with elegant and whimsical details fit for any prince or princess.
From the bedroom’s stained glass windows that provide a unique view to Fantasyland just outside to the sitting room, which features a mirror that transforms into a television by way of some Disney magic and a fireplace which features fiber optic fireworks etched into the embers, and the bathroom, which includes the only place you can “bathe under the stars,” each square inch features something regal to feast your eyes on.
Of course, guests will also receive some pretty sweet resort amenities, such as a 24-hour concierge and a parting souvenir of a glass slipper—just a little something to cap off what was surely a magical stay.
Sadly, few guests actually get to experience a night in the suite, which was created for Walt Disney’s family to stay in during their visits to the Florida park. He died before it was completed, and the space went largely unused until 2006, when Disney opened the doors to a handful of guests for a one-night stay as part of its “Year of a Million Dreams” sweepstakes. Since then, it’s rumored that a few lucky celebrities (including Mariah Carey, Tom Cruise and daughter Suri, and Kevin Jonas) have stayed in the stunning suite, but it typically serves as a lucky landing pad for contest and sweepstakes winners.
Disney fans are surely hoping that someday, the 650-square-foot abode designed to resemble a 17th-century French chateau will be open for reservations, but like anything else Disney-related, it’s sure to cost a pretty penny.
