There’s a Sneaky New Way to Get Discounted Disney World Tickets
When Walt Disney World announced its plan to institute “Extra” Extra Magic Hours and open at 6 a.m. this fall, park-goers cheered with excitement. There’s a LOT to see and do at the Disney parks, and more time inside the gates means more time to enjoy it all.
But not everyone wants to wake up at the crack of dawn to squeeze in a little more Disney time. Now, the folks who want to sleep in and hit the park later in the day can buy a new kind of ticket—at a discount—to do so. Introducing: Disney World Mid-Day Magic Tickets.
What are Mid-Day Magic Tickets? They’re discounted Disney World tickets that grant you entry to one theme park per day—Magic Kingdom park, Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios, or Disney’s Animal Kingdom theme park—after 12 pm. And since you won’t be there for the full day, you won’t have to pay the full price of admission.
Mid-Day Magic Tickets are available now and valid until on or before December 15, 2019. You can buy two-day, three-day, and four-day tickets, and the more days you visit the park, the more you’ll save. Two-day tickets start at $88 a day, plus tax ($176 total, plus tax), and are regularly $116 per day, plus tax ($232 total, plus tax). Three-day tickets start at $84 a day, plus tax ($252 total, plus tax), and are regularly $112 a day, plus tax ($334 total, plus tax). Four-day tickets start at $79 a day, plus tax ($316 total, plus tax), and are regularly $108 a day, plus tax ($432 total, plus tax). However, the price may vary depending on your selected start date.
Another nice feature of the Mid-Day Magic Tickets is that you don’t have to use them on consecutive days. The two-day tickets expire four days after the selected start date, the three-day tickets expire five days after the selected start date, and the four-day tickets expire seven days after the selected start date. So, if you wanted to take a day off from Disney and do something else in Orlando (The Wizarding World of Harry Potter, anyone?) you have some flexibility with your vacation schedule.
Mid-Day Magic Tickets are yet another reason to love Disney World. We’ll see you there at noon.
