DIY A-Frame Tent

DIY A-Frame Tent

Rubyellen's dollhouse pillows caught our eye, and now she brings us a simple tutorial for this great looking A-frame tent:

At first when we saw the wood, we thought this project was beyond us. But upon further examination, the wood was labeled dowel and molding and there are no screws or nails involved. The moldings cross over each other and the dowel fits through a hole you drill in each one. The covering just gets elastic sewed on each corner to fit over the wooden legs.

The best thing about the project is the tent can easily come down and be stored when not in use so it's great for small spaces. You can also switch the look completely by adding a new cover.

Visit Rubyellen at Cakies for the step by step tutorial.

The tutorial was also a guest post at Grosgrain where they've been holding a "free pattern month" that's worth checking out.
