This easy peasy pillow project requires only basic sewing skills (by machine or by hand) and can be translated into other things too, like a throw pillow or dog pillow. What makes it so great is the material used: a thrifted blanket!
If you can find an old blanket with tattered edges but a fabulous pattern, you're well on your way to making this floor pillow — just add stuffing, and maybe even a few pom-poms. And since blankets tend to be thicker and heavier than your everyday fabric, they're well suited to the use and abuse your floor pillows may take.
