DIY Fort-Making Kit

Whenever I discover a gift I would love to receive for my kids, I know it's probably a great gift to give as well. Children's gifts, especially the kind that encourage young imaginations, are our favorites. This one we spotted over at Saltwater Kids is perfect.

Emily created this complete fort making kit for about $10. So what's inside the nifty little bag (which she sewed out of fabric scraps)? 2 sheets - $1.25/each, a pillowcase (for the bag lining & accessory bag) - $.50, clothes pins, clamps and rope ($1/each), and flashlight and suction cups ($2/each). She included everything the kids will need to make a fort in no time. For complete details on how to assemble something similar, check out Saltwater Kids.
