Look!: Framed Coats

081408frame-03.jpgFrames are great when you want to highlight artwork or an antique picture but framing clothing? We thought it was silly too until we saw it in the flesh. This idea is great on so many levels...

The fact that it's unexpected and adds a bit of flair to the drab entryway scores big points. Plus it's translatable for any space--the frame can change depending on the mood and color of your home. You can find large picture frames that are relatively inexpensive at your local thrift store (but we're guessing you might have an extra frame lying around). In case you don't want to purchase a frame we also think it would be cool to just paint a rectangle where the coats hang, still giving them that framing effect. And finally, not to get too dorky but we love the notion that we're framing outerwear (which frames us when the temperatures cool down).
