Design Do or Don't? Framed Film Posters

I usually have such an aversion to movie posters in the home (perhaps a bad taste in my mouth from college days?) but recently I've been loving them. From vintage posters to newly reimagined designs by graphic designers, movie posters are popping up in even the chicest of pads. Check out these examples, and let us know— do you like the look of framed film posters in a contemporary home?

1. Helvetica documentary event poster on the walls of Chris & Jenna's Collection in the Castro.

2. A Lolita poster in a Parisian Apartment with a Scandinavian twist, from Design Sponge.

3. Redesigned Skyfall poster, in a modern, crisp bedroom, from The Geekerie on Etsy.

4. Star Wars inspired art prints in a minimalist living room, from Concepcion Studios on Etsy.

5. A vintage Nosferatu poster, spotted in a space on Refinery29.
