You Can Now Spend The Night on Dolly Parton’s Dreamy Tour Bus
The music star spent 15 years traveling the country on the bus, where she wrote dozens of songs, according to its official listing. Designed by Parton and her sisters, Suite 1986 truly allows visitors to step into the “Jolene” hitmaker’s world. Inside, you’ll find a bedazzled bedroom, which features a wig closet, pink furs, a handpainted vanity, and plenty of opulent pastel jewelry.
Now retired, the tour bus is now available for superfans to enjoy via the Dolly Tour Bus Experience. Guests are treated to special Dollywood swag, like plush bathrobes and Parton’s signature perfume. To cap it off, they can enjoy a highly personalized private dinner prepared by the resort’s chef, Tiffany Hicks. Food and Wine reports that each course is named for one of Parton’s songs or albums, and is then paired with a corresponding wine.
The package includes a minimum of two nights on the bus for two guests, as well as a suite inside the resort that up to four additional visitors can enjoy. In between pampering, you and your party can also visit the Dollywood theme park for yourselves.
Sounds great, right? Well, there’s one catch — the Dolly Tour Bus Experience costs at least $10,000. If it’s any comfort, it’s for a good cause. Proceeds from the tour bus stays are donated to Parton’s Dollywood Foundation, which supports children’s education initiatives.
Are you interested in enjoying the Dolly Tour Bus Experience yourself? Head over to Dollywood’s website to fill out the official interest form. A representative from DreamMore Resort and Spa will be in touch within 48 hours.
