We're in the home stretch! All the heavy lifting and vital lessons are behind us. Both the month and the Cure wrap up tomorrow, so our main focus right now is just settling in to our forever homes and forever selves.
Remember when, two weeks ago, I had you strip down your living room to only the essentials? Take a second to think back on how you've felt about your space the last two weeks, then dig in on today's task...
Look around your "lightened" living room and think about all of the things you removed from the space earlier in the month. Slowly picture putting them all back into place. If you feel like the item will warm up, beautify or otherwise improve the enjoyment of the space, go grab it from where you stored it and bring it right back. Feel good about knowing that you intentionally chose this item to make your room a nicer place to be. For anything you don't want to return to its original location, either find it a new home in your home, store it or outbox it now.
Once you've got the living room back to where you want it to be, it's time to get the items in your outbox out of the house.
Some of you may have been emptying as you go (amazing!), but for those of you who've been filling it up since we kicked off the Cure, now is the time to let it go.
Don't let this moment be a sticking point. I told you at the top of the month that you were free to take anything you wanted to keep out of the outbox after it had been there at least a week. So you should feel good about letting go of anything that you haven't thought about in some time. Ultimately, what we choose to keep is more important than what we let go.
So tonight, go through the things that have been in your outbox for a week or more and decide where to send them:
- deliver donations
- hit the recycling center
- put things out on the curb with a "free sign"
- list 'em on the Apartment Therapy Marketplace, Craigslist, eBay or Freecycle
- package goodies up and pass on to a friend
The most important part is to put the plan into action as soon as possible. Make an appointment on your calendar to drop donations off during your lunch hour, or plan to create online listings during the commercial breaks of your show tonight. Just do it.

OK, one more day! Let's check in with each other and let each other know how we're feeling.
