Dreaming Of An Inspirational Paint Job

Dreaming Of An Inspirational Paint Job

We've talked till we are blue in the face about paint being an inexpensive option for making over a space, that's nothing new, but the crazy "Trading Spaces" paint jobs are long gone and we've been feeling a little lackluster with paint lately. Sure it's pretty, but it hasn't been anything to write home about. A local bank gave us a little zing this afternoon with super pretty paint in their drive thru!

This paint job can be found in Kansas City, Missouri in the Brookside neighborhood. Missouri Bank has put in a new branch and that's where we ran across this bright pop of color. Although this isn't exactly something you'll be putting up in you're entryway (although we would), we love the reminder that paint can be something other than a solid color. It can be taped off to create anything you can imagine and these clean graphic lines aren't especially difficult to replicate at home.

Each letter is lit at night, so we'll have to make a trip back to see what it looks like when in action. They're raised with small metal feet giving the piece depth.

Although you might not be into the wording so much, the colors and lines are still fun and we can see them working in a rec room or any other room for a more outgoing family with the right decor.

What do you think? Have we lost our marbles (because we know you'll be honest with us) or do you think it's a refreshing take on a paint job?
