Dress Shirt Quilt

Lots of men have an overabundance of dress shirts from years of clocking 9 to 5 at the office. But never have we seen them put to such fresh, modern reuse as in this quilt:

We recently spotted this quilt that Jill shared on her blog, My Spinning Wheels. Her mom created it out of her dad's old dress shirts, with a trim of striped fabric on a bias to resemble neck ties. The quilt's simple blocking and subtle mix of blues make it quite a clean-lined yet comforting little blanket.

Says Jill, "I can remember my Dad wearing many of these shirts so it will always be a sweet memento."
