After Drew Barrymore posted a photo of her adorable pups enjoying a snooze session on her bed, her comments section erupted with demands to know where she got the chunky knit blanket at the foot of her bed. It’s part throw blanket, part comforter, and wholly something the entire internet is dying to get their hands on.

“Cozy,” Barrymore captioned her Jan. 2 pic. “So cute!! Where is your chunky knit blanket from?” one fan asked, adding, “Been looking on Etsy but haven’t pulled the trigger yet.” Another fan wrote, “Is that a blanket or a comforter? That’s amazing!!” with someone else writing, “Cute…and I love your chunky blanket too.”

And these are just a couple of comments that mention the knit bedspread. Collectively, the internet needs answers as to where this thing came from.

Although Barrymore has yet to respond to the masses, a dupe for her throw is easy to find on Etsy. Several Etsy sellers are making these chunky knit blankets, available in a wide variety of colors.

JennysKnitCo on Etsy makes a ribbed version of the blanket with 100% Australian merino wool. This blanket is currently available in off-white, olive, and royal blue and can be purchased in a variety of different sizes. The smallest is 20” x 20”, and the largest is 64” x 80”.

ShepsWool on Etsy makes a flat version of the blanket, most similar to Barrymore’s, handmade in the USA with Oh So Soft Merino wool. This version of the throw is 40” x 60” and is currently on sale.

Or, if you’re a knitter, and want to tackle this project yourself, there’s a bestselling pattern available on Etsy through DeBrosseNYC that walks you through knitting this blanket using your arms rather than needles—it’s super easy and works up quickly.
