Drink Up Kitty Cat

Reading the Sky Mall magazine can often be the highlight of a flight anywhere. Where else will you find more useless (expensive) gadgets that could change your life? This time got me considering the automotic pet feeders and 'filtered pet waterers'. Kitty was home alone with the neighbor feeding her and I wondered, would she use one of those? She does like fresh water... Anyone have any experience with these--is there any merit to their practicality (because god knows they're ugly).

I think I've counted out the auto pet feeder because I would obsess about whether it had broken and my cat was starving, but the waterer? She loves running water right out of the faucet and I think she's been getting thirsty when I'm away and she just has stale bowl water.

What do you think? Could it change my life or be a waste?
