This is a cool idea, as sometimes, our Tolomeo on the desk is full of post-it notes!

The Exclamación Lamp uses the spike concealed inside in order to hold the notes in one place. We just have to overcome our fears of stabbing ourselves while placing the messages there!

This is the versatile Exclamación Lamp!

From the makers:

“This simple lamp appears to be aggressive, but it isn’t. The inside of the lamp contains a little spike to help you control all of those little notes spread over your desk. Don’t be alarmed, it’s quite blunt and it doesn’t hurt. Plus it’s well illuminated so that you can read all your notes.”

You maybe remember this post from last year: Surtido de Mutaciones was a challenge to some designers to come up with new products using Ikea parts. The Spanish phrase translates into “range of mutations”. Basically, they had to see Ikea furniture as parts to make new devices. Yonoh design studio came up with something really neat. It’s a lamp that can be assembled using different Ikea parts. To make this lamp, you don’t need a lot. You need a base, five strips of wood, the bulb in a lamp shade and some screws.
