Your Home Can Now Run on Dunkin’s New Coffee and Doughnut Scented Candles
You know the incredible feeling of that first sip of coffee? Now it can light up your entire home. Homesick—a lifestyle and fragrance brand known for its trendy candles themed to memories and locations—has partnered with Dunkin’ for a limited-edition release of three DD-inspired scents.
First up in the Homesick x Dunkin’ Collection is Original Blend, which mirrors Dunkin’s signature blend of coffee that’s been around for almost 70 years. Expect a sweet scent of coffee and cream for this one. The next one is a seasonal fave, a festive Peppermint Mocha mixing coffee, chocolate, and peppermint together that pairs well with mistletoe, presents, and cozy pajamas. Last but not least is an Old Fashioned scent that smells like freshly baked doughnuts with a subtle warm spiciness.
“Dunkin’ is backed by such a passionate fanbase who knows the brand better than anyone so it was essential we got the Homesick x Dunkin’ range right,” said Taylor Sicard, co-founder of Homesick’s parent company Win Brands Group.
This isn’t the first fun promo the beloved brand has launched. For the past two years, the company has partnered with (fellow Massachusetts-based) footwear brand Saucony to release logo-emblazoned shoes in honor of the Boston Marathon. And in 2018, Dunkin’ designed a 275 square-foot tiny house, decorated in pink and orange, that actually ran on used coffee grounds. A lucky few were able to book a stay overnight via Airbnb.
The candles, priced at $29.95, are packaged in signature Dunkin’ colors and hand-poured in the US with a coconut wax blend. And they burn for 60-80 hours. Talk about running on Dunkin’!
