Even those of us who are devoted to the design and care of our homes often get intimidated by the garden. But there are lots of ways to bring plants into your life without any "black thumb" frustration. We've collected our favorite easy plant projects from this year's posts to get you started.

Succulents, terrariums, and air plants (tillandsias) have been trendy this year, and for good reason. They require very little water and maintenance, and their lovely forms have structural appeal for the design-obsessed. Many of the following projects involve these easy-care beauties, while others are just simple but inspiring gardens and planters, some of them for small spaces, some for low-water situations, and so on.
