Easy Nutty Cookies

Sorry nut-sensitive types, this cookie is not for you. This one is more for the gluten-free type. And the I-don't-want-to-spend-a-lot-of-time-in-the-kitchen type. What we love the most about this recipe is just how darn easy it is: 3 ingredients, you likely have in your home right now, and a hot oven is all you need. Embellishments optional.

Combine the following in a medium bowl:
1 cup Nut butter (choose almond, hazelnut, peanut or combination)
1 cup Brown sugar
1 Egg, beaten

Scoop 2 tablespoon sized balls onto an un-greased cookie sheet. Flatten. Decorate, if desired. Pop in a preheated (400° F) oven for 10 to 13 minutes. Let them cool on a cookie rack.

To make these bear-pig-dog type animals, we used almond slices, mini candy-coated chocolate candies, and chocolate-covered raisins.
