Vintage detergent samples. These would look great in shadow boxes in a laundry room. Opening bid is $7.99. Ajax and Brillo are still around, but I wonder what ever happened to Climalene?
Restoration Hardware Grand Scale couches. Buyer beware. At two for $999, this could either be a stunningly great deal or a Grand Scale disaster. The first-time seller has precious little concept of marketing. These are pictured wrapped in plastic. Get more pictures. Ask some questions. This is more Craigslist ad than eBay auction.
Peapod lamps. I often seen triple-ball lamps, but never in this particular shade of green. The shades (not pictured) are atrocious, but the lamps look fresh. They’re way too expensive – I don’t think they’ll sell – so keep an eye out for the relisting.
Mixed-media portrait by J.A. Kleinsteuber. This piece is photo-transferred using charcoal and acrylics. While I’m not fond of self-confessed “painting diva” Kleinsteuber’s hyperbolics (she calls this a ‘masterpiece’), this clever piece could be a portrait of German chanteuse Ute Lemper. Now
there’s a diva.
