Summer is upon us, and a lot of use spend the days nicely cooled off in our offices thanks to the AC. When it's time to clock off, it's time to enjoy what's left of the day, come home and have a great time. We've put together some of the best tips and tricks that will make your outdoor parties a success, whether they're held on a beach, at camp, or in your backyard.

First and foremost, in order to spend some quality time around the pool or with some friends in your backyard, you need some lighting solutions. One of the best that we've found is a DIY Sunjar. They cost about $6 to make, are solar rechargeable, and portable. If DIY doesn't work for you, then you can check out our other top garden lighting solutions that we've listed here.

Next up, once your party has the right lighting, you'll need some way to cook food. The City Grill is a great way of cooking up some food, no matter where you are. It works on your balcony, in your backyard, or when you're on the go. If you'd like something different, but equally handy, our roundup of great barbecues should give you some ideas. You can read it here.

Lastly, once you've eaten some food and had a good meal, it's time to party! For that, you'll need some kind of outdoor speaker solution. While bringing out your speakers from inside the house can work, it's always better to have something that will really work nicely for parties. The Etón Soulra is really a nice solution, that's waterproof and will recharge itself using the might of the sun. It's somewhat pricey at $200, but it will work well in a number of different environments, such as near the pool, at the lake, at camp, and at beaches. We've put together a great list here.
