Ellen DeGeneres just can’t quit the real estate game, and she’s added to her portfolio once again. The talk show host recently scooped up an oceanfront estate in the coastal town of Carpinteria, California for a cool $18.6 million.

The comedian cum apparel and home designer and her wife, actress Portia de Rossi, listed their sprawling Tuscan inspired villa in Santa Barbara for $45 million back in March, and it’s yet to secure a buyer.

That hasn’t stopped them from picking up a pad on the Pacific Ocean, one that’s about ten miles closer to Los Angeles. The Carpinteria estate is on 1.13 acres of beachfront property, with four bedrooms and four and a half bathrooms across 5,979 square feet. The living spaces are at an angle to the coast, and have floor to ceiling windows and sliding glass doors to take advantage of those stunning ocean views.

The inside is super sleek and modern, with a minimalist fireplace, high ceilings, and a galley kitchen with stainless steel island. Three of the bedrooms are ensuite and on the main floor, while the master suite takes up the entire second floor. The master has a private office, double sided fireplace, and a spacious spa bathroom that opens into an expansive dressing room. Variety notes that there are “two ocean-side balconies and two roof terraces, one with an outdoor fireplace and an ocean view.”

Perched over the tennis court, there’s also an 883 square foot guest house with one bedroom and two bathrooms.

Famous neighbors at their new space include Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher, who scooped up their “surf shack” for $10 million earlier this year, and George Lucas.
