Ellen DeGeneres’ New Lighting Collection Starts at $79
Ellen DeGeneres is already one of the busiest women in Hollywood. Between hosting and executive producing multiple TV shows, performing as a stand up comedian, and being an LGBTQIA activist, her schedule is pretty booked. Now the multi-hyphenate can add another title to her ever expanding resume: lighting designer.
Her new ED Ellen DeGeneres by Generation Lighting available via Clarkson Lighting features mid-century modern options that were inspired by pieces in DeGeneres’ own home. The fixtures come in matte black, gold, white, and natural wood finishes and range in price from $79 to $700.
We combed through the 35-piece collection and rounded up some of our favorites:
The orb-shaped sconce adds a simple and sophisticated touch to your home lighting situation. The Apollo 1 has two finish options, burnish brass and polished nickel, to perfectly match your look.
This is a modern update to a traditional lamp sconce, with midnight black matte finish and gold detailing that makes it extra chic.
This pendant frames the single bulb with a three-tier circular design. Toeing the line between a modern sculpture and a simple classic design, it comes in three finishes—although the matte white might be our favorite.
This lamp statement makes for a great centerpiece in a living room. The huge clear orb and simple iron legs allows the Edison bulb to really shine.
This chandelier gives us total castle-meets-industrial vibes.
As one of the few fixtures featuring wood, this lamp stands out from the other metal-heavy pieces in the collection.
