Roxbury Community College. There will be energy and heating experts on hand to give you energy-saving tips, information about fuel assistance, and hands-on instruction for installing low-cost materials that stop drafts and keep your heat from leaking out. You’ll also have the opportunity to sign up for a free energy audit.

Event will take place from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Roxbury Community College, Academic Building, Room 129, 1234 Columbus Avenue, Roxbury. Near the Roxbury Crossing MBTA station; parking is also available in the RCC lot. (No preregistration is required.)

If you’ve never checked out the Boston Building Materials Co-op or the Building Materials Resource Center, they’re both around the corner from Roxbury Community College. So swing by after the Open House to see the great selection of reclaimed and new materials that you can purchase to make do-it-yourself improvements to your home.
