Piggy banks haven't changed much over time - you put the coins in and the vessel holds them until you're ready to take them out. A group of Danish Dads has created a new kind of bank, called Ernit, to reflect today's digital money.
Ernit is an internet-connected bank that works in conjunction with an app to teach kids about saving and setting financial goals. Anyone (parents, grandparents, aunts and uncles) with the app can send money via credit card to the child's bank which then lights up when received. And, yes, it really does accept Bitcoin
