Espressos Made Easy With These Two Great New Machines

Espressos are an acquired taste, but once you start drinking them, it's hard to stop. There's no better way than making these at home.

The easiest and cheapest way of making an espresso is to simply use an espresso pot. These are very cheap to buy. The one that I use most of the time is from Ikea and costs about $20. I've had an Italian roommate and that's how he drank it. I've taken a shine to making my own this way. However, some people prefer to have dedicated machines to make their espressos. These machines tend to be expensive, but thanks to coffee pods, they've become a lot more affordable.

The first machine is by Casino and uses coffee pods. It's quite attractive and is finished in stainless steel as well as a chocolate brown color. It costs around $145, comes with a 1.3L tank, and has the capability of making two cups at once, which is kind of neat. It also has an integrated Brita filter.

The second machine is by SEB and is called the Espremio EX6400. It's slightly more expensive, at $186, but can used ground coffee, which is better in my opinion. It can also make two cups at a time and has a 2L tank. The cups can also be stored in the machine and preheated, which is an interesting feature. It's also compatible with coffee pods.
