It’s not getting warm anytime soon for most of the country, and while that forecast can feel a tad bleak, it also means that we’re not saying farewell to blanket season quite yet. From oversized thick knits to lightweight throws, blankets come in all shapes and sizes—and they can all be found on Etsy, the online marketplace for one-of-a-kind goods. When browsing throw blanket options, there are ones that make us happy, and then there are the ones that make us want to stay in pretty much forever, until we finally become one with the blanket layers. If that’s the coziness level you’re looking for, read on: We’ve found the comfiest, warmest blankets on Etsy that will make the remaining weeks of winter way more bearable.

Featured on our Best List of throw blankets, this chunky wool throw is an Etsy bestseller and a homebody’s dream. Hand-knit and made-to-order in Indiana with extra large stitchings, it’s not only warm and cozy but will also last for years. At 32″ x 54,” it’s a good size for folding over your bed or draping over a sofa during the winter.

While linen isn’t an obvious choice for cozy blanket material, this waffle throw might just change your mind. A combination of both linen and cotton blend, this pick is lighter in weight than chunky knits but is still super soft and warm. The dusty rose color is a gorgeous complement to darker colors, but if you’d rather go for something more neutral it also comes in gray.

Another chunky option, this blanket is made of 100 percent super fine merino wool and is finished with giant tassels on the ends. Made to order in Denver, it comes in a whopping 29 colors and eight sizes—and if none of those cut it, you can talk to the makers about creating a custom blanket with your specifications. At 30″ x 60″ (excluding fringe), it’s meant to be a real statement piece in your space.

This two-toned chenille yarn blanket is totally customizable—if you don’t like this color combination you can create your own. Additionally, you can choose from 12 sizing options ranging from $60-$740, or request your own. There are a whole lot of chunky blankets on Etsy, but this one stands out for its color blocking style and (machine washable!) chenille yarn construction.

The Brooklyn-based Calhoun & Co studio is responsible for a number of fun graphic throws (you’ve definitely seen their Good At Naps blanket somewhere on the Internet), but we especially love the colors and design of this pick. Made of 100 percent cotton and machine-washable, this blanket has an inviting message that will warm up your living space or make a thoughtful gift.

A lightweight option, this hand-dyed throw is made of organic cotton and has a homespun quality to it. At 78″ x 47,” it’s an ideal size to throw on your bed to add an extra layer during colder months or to keep folded up and close at hand when you need an additional layer. The rust color is beautiful and fits with the overall earthy vibe—it really pops against white bedding, but will work with richer colors as well.
