Eva Solo’s Outdoor Oil Lamp

Billed as a modern alternative to the tiki torch, there’s definitely something beautiful about the clean lines of Eva Solo’s Outdoor Oil Lamp. But there’s also something about it that makes us nervous – that tall open flame so close to the surface it’s sitting on perhaps?

Yes, they’re 8″ high, but that seems to short to put on the ground, and too tall for a table. We could see them looking great placed on the edges of a wide stone staircase, creating a lighted walkway, but aren’t sure how they could fit into a “typical” backyard. Anyone?

$65 each at A+R.
