Family Chairs by Lina Nordqvist

Family Chairs by Lina Nordqvist

Similar at first glance, the family chairs seem to reveal more unique characteristics the more we look at them. For those not quite ready to go with the mismatch chair trend these chairs offer a slightly more refined yet whimsical character...

Separately they present themselves as individuals, unique chairs aspiring to be something more than just pieces of furniture. Together they form a boisterous family, with each one displaying a distinctive character.

We grew up in a home with antique thumb back chairs that were very similar to this concept. They all appeared to be a set but all had very different details. We each had our own chair at the table and could tell immediately if our chair had been switched. These chairs would be a great idea for a family so everyone felt like they had their own unique chair.

Produced by Design House Stockholm and available as sets or individually for those less inclined to mismatch at the MoMA Design Store.
