We first met Jessica when we toured her family's whimsical Storybook Tudor in Fullerton, California. Being immersed in the fashion industry thanks to her company, Swish & Swoon, may be the secret to what keeps this entrepreneur, wife, and mother-of-two looking stylishly pulled together on a daily basis, but we wanted to know more about Jessica's personal fashion inspiration. From Anthropologie to the Olsen twins, this lovely lady dishes on her love of fashion after the jump.
Your very favorite outfit: Maxi dresses! They are so effortless and comfortable.
3 things from your closet you couldn’t live without: Distressed denim, white tee, and a military green parka jacket
Your typical work “uniform”: From the above list of things I can't live without (denim, white shirt, and a casual jacket) plus my cozy Minnetonka moccasins.
The #1 item from your fashion wish list: I'm obsessed with Equipment Signature Silk blouses, and every time they release a new print I add it to my wish list.
The item you no longer have but wish you did: I completely cleared out all my flared jeans, but they are making a comeback!
The TV or movie characters’ wardrobe(s) you’d steal in a minute: Besides Lady Mary from Downton Abbey? I actually don't watch a lot of TV, but if you want to talk celebrity I would say the Olsen twins!
Most fashionable friend and why: My friend Sarah has amazing taste, and she has quite an eye for finding clothes that fit perfectly and complement her body.
Your best bargain find ever: My absolute favorite would be the infamous Feline Karma Dress from Anthropologie. I got it on sale for $9.99.
Best fashion advice: Layer, layer, layer to add fun and texture to any outfit.
