This was tough! There's lots to admire here but after much debate we agreed that we both love PlanetSusanna's Golden Cottage; her colour palette, her vibrant use of patterns and her playful love of chinoiserie and other exotica is right up our design alley...
If you lived in a white house, and you only had one color to play with, what would it be, how would you use it and why?:
An impossible choice but after some discussion we agreed upon blue. From the deepest midnight to the palest sky, blue has a very broad range and marries well with white—think Greece, think Delft, think Chinese porcelain.
Sophia Coppola's "Marie Antoinette" was a love letter to the color blue, on walls, on furnishings, bed linens, you name it, and that's exactly how we'd use it.
