What do you have when you combine a homemade toy and use repurposed, recycled items to create it? You have this charming felt fairy house which was put together using an old felted sweater and a lot of love.
Valerie writes, "This little fairy house was an impromptu sewing project for two sweet girls we were lucky enough to meet for a play date this afternoon. It was a great hit with the girls, and of course it was super-frugal (and fun) to make!"
Perfect for the slightly older child to sew, this fairy house is as easy to make as it is fun to play with. To make her fairy house, Valerie used:
• a felted wool sweater
• extra pieces of felt
• a bit of yarn
• some buttons
• a few fake flowers
