Before & After: Fibrenew Makes Old Leather Like New

Before & After: Fibrenew Makes Old Leather Like New

The photo you see above is actually the 'before' photo of a leather sofa purchased for $75 on Craigslist which will soon be fixed by Fibrenew, a company that specializes in the restoration of leather and plastics. The chemicals used in the restoration are incredibly low in VOC-content, and the 'after' result is impressive.

While their process is a bit secretive (you can't buy their products, only their service), Fibrenew technicians claim they can repair your leather or plastic products to near-new condition. Just consider the amount of furniture that could be saved from the landfill through a quality restoration job such as this.

Below you will see the process in photos and some after shots. A friend recently had her sofa restored and below is the final result. Who knew that the leather repair process could be this good?

Yes, this is the same sofa - just different lighting conditions!
