Firmship by Studio Job: Luxury Living in a 42-Foot Boat

Antwerp firm Studio Job knows how to build a boat. Working with architect Willem Nieland, they designed this slick white wonder with teak interiors. At forty-two feet long, it's big for a boat but small for a home — precision-designed built-ins (with seamlessly joined planks) keep everything organized while a minimal palette makes for a modern lower deck.

There are some surprises hidden beneath the streamlined, practical surface. If you look carefully, you'll find skulls, crossbones, and Moby Dick embedded in the upholstery, while the captain's cabin contains a stained glass window.

Interested in owning your own Firmship? It will set you back € 379,000 including VAT. Plans are also underway for a larger 60-foot version.
